16 Pakistanis stand trial on bringing 10 tons of drugs
SANA'A, Oct. 21 (Saba) - The specialized Primary Penal Court started
on Tuesday its first hearing for the trial of sixteen Pakistanis
accused of bringing 10 tons of drugs into Yemeni regional waters.
In the hearing chaired by Judge Muhsin Alwan, the prosecution showed
in its indictment that the international collation forces have
captured last April the accused persons on a boat in the Yemeni
regional waters with about a 10 tons of hashish.
Indictment read that the forces have destroyed all the quantity
except 170kg handed over along with the accused to the Yemeni
coastguard forces in Hadramout.
The court decided to discus the evidences brought by prosecution in
next hearing which will be held next Saturday.
