QUAKE HITS MALUKU WATERS
Bandarlampung, Oct 21 (ANTARA) - An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale shook the Saumlaki waters in the eastern Indonesian province of Maluku Tuesday night.
The epicenter of the quake which struck at 8 p.m. was located 391 km southwest of Saumlaki town in a depth of 141 km, the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG) said.
The quake did not have the potential of causing a tsunami, it said
