SOME 14 DISTRICTS TO TAKE PART IN E JAVA NORTH COAST FESTIVAL
Surabaya, East Java, Oct 21 (ANTARA) - As many as 14 districts and cities in East Java will take part in a Northern Coast Art Festival (FKPU) in East Java's Taman Budaya (TBJT) in Bentar beach, Probolinggo district, October 23 to 24.
"The festival is to be held at the same time as Probolinggo district's anniversary, October 23," head of the documentation and communication section of TBJT Karsono said here Tuesday.
The 14 regions taking part in the festival would show their traditional arts. The performers would be selected by the tourism office in each reagion.
The festival is scheduled to be opened by the head of East Java's education and culture Office Rasiyo and Probolinggo District Chief Aminuddin on Friday, October 24.***2***
