TURKEY TO CONTRIBUTE TO INT’L COUNTERTERRORISM EFFORTS
Baku, 21 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)“Turkey will firmly continue its efforts toward protection of peace and security in the world during its tenure of membership in the UN Security Council”, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilich told a press conference on 20 October.
The Ambassador stated that Turkey intends to make greater contribution to the fight
against global terrorism and is going to urge other states to join global
anti-terrorism actions.
The number of United Nations Security Council’s permanent members must increase. It
must include Turkey, Japan, Germany and other countries, according to the
Ambassador.
“I hope, that as one of the major contributors to the international peace, Turkey
will become a permanent member of the UN Security Council”, he stressed.
