al-Dhahouk to be executed, al-Hatabani set innocent over espionage

SANA'A, Oct. 20 (Saba)- Yemeni Penal Specialized Court ratified on
Monday the initial sentence of public execution issued against the
first accused Ahmad al-Dhahouk over charges of spying for foreign
state and set the second accused Abdul-Aziz al-Hatabani free of
charge.

The sentenced recited by the Head of the Court Judge Mohammad
al-Hakimi stipulated on accepting the appeal made by appealers and
would be presented on future legal time.

Last February, the court had accused al-Dhahouk and al-Hatabani and
issued executions sentences against both because of charges of
espionage for foreign state and providing fallacious information
harm Yemen and its diplomatic and political status.
