SCER invited UNDP to monitor parliamentary elections 2009
SANA'A, Oct. 20 (Saba) - The Supreme Commission for Election and
Referendum (SCER) invited on Monday the United Nations Development
Program (UNDP) to participate in monitoring the two electoral phases
of revise and amendment the voters' lists 2008 and parliamentary
elections 2009.
Head of Foreign Relations Sector at SCER Jafar Ba-Saleh discussed
with the officer of good governance at UNDP Patricia Barandon
aspects of bilateral cooperation and the implementation of the
project of the electoral assistance and international support for
the parliamentary elections 2009.
The meeting discussed arrangements by SCER for revise and amendment
of the voters' lists in preparation for 2009 election.
