Pakistan calls on Saudi businessmen to invest in the Pakistani
Riyadh, October 20, SPA -- Pakistan's Minister of Investment and
Privatization Sayed Kumar called on Saudi businessmen today to pump
more investments in his country in different economic fields,
particularly in agriculture and agricultural industry sectors.
In a key address during a meeting between a visiting Pakistani
economic delegation with Saudi businessmen at Riyadh chamber of
commerce, Kumar said his country might be considered a future food
basket of the world, confirming that there are real investment
opportunities waiting Saudi businessmen in Pakistan, contrary to what
has been circulated by western media, according to the Pakistani
minister.
Trade exchange between the two countries amounted to SR13749 million
in 2007 with Saudi exports to Pakistan standing at SR13015 million.
