OIC Chief, British Envoy discuss bilateral ties, key issues

Jeddah, October 18, SPA -- Secretary General of the Organization of
Islamic Conference (OIC) and British Ambassador to the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia William Patey has held talks on OIC activities and means
of boosting cooperation between the OIC and the United Kingdom
especially the implementation of concrete projects within the
framework of the OIC's Ten Year Programme of Action.

The meeting held during the last weekend was also attended by
British
Consul General in Jeddah, Ms Kate Rudd.

The talks also dealt with issues of common interest, in particular
inter-cultural dialogue, respect for religions, Islamphobia and
Kosovo.
