Georgian minister resigns

Georgia, Tbilisi, Aug. 22 / Trend N.Kirtskhalia / Giorgi Baramidze has been nominated as a majority candidate by the National Movement in Batumi. He has officially resigned as a state minister for integration into european structures. At the moment, Baramidze's duties are performed by his deputy Elena Khoshtaria, the ministry's office told Trend on Wednesday. The candidacy of Deputy Foreign Minister Tornike Gordadze has been considered for the position of state minister. The parliamentary elections in Georgia will be held on October 1.
