AVCIYA ANNOUNCES ITS PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT ON PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
Baku, 17 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)The Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan (AVCIYA) announced Thursday its preliminary assessment on 15 October presidential election in Azerbaijan.
The Association says except for minor shortcomings at some polling stations,
yesterday`s presidential election in Azerbaijan was democratic, fair and
transparent. It meets CEO commitments and international standards.
Exit poll conducted by AVCIYA and ELS Independent Research Center in 800 polling
stations gave presidential candidate Ilham Aliyev 82.6% of vote.
