S. Korea's pension fund to buy corporate, bank bonds
SEOUL, Oct. 17 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's national pension fund said Friday it
will expand its purchase of bonds issued by local companies and banks amid the
deepening credit squeeze in the nation's money market.
The National Pension Service plans to expand its investment in "healthy corporate
and bank bonds with above AA ratings," Kim Seon-jeong, head of the fund
management division at the NPS, told reporters.
