Mannai Corp. Semi Annual Financial Statements

Doha, August 09 (QNA) - Mannai Corporation has disclosed the semiannual financial statements for the period ending June 30, 2012. The reviewed financial statements for the period ending June 30, 2012 revealed a net profit of QR 168.6 Million in comparison to QR 140.5 Million for the same period last year, the company said in a statement on Thursday. The company’s earnings per Share (EPS) amounted to QR 4.93 as of June 30, 2012 versus QR 4.93 for the corresponding period in 2011. The Board of Directors of Mannai Corporation Recommended to the Extraordinary General Assembly of shareholders to increase the share capital of the company by rights issue to company shareholders, the statement added. The company called for an Extraordinary General Assembly to be held on Monday, 22/10/2012 to consider the proposed increase in share capital or, if the quorum is not complete for such meeting, on Sunday 04/11/2012. Earlier in the day Qatar Exchange announced that trading on Mannai Corporation shares is suspended, because the financial statements for the first half of 2012 were not provided. (QNA)
