Qatar Cinema and Film Distribution Posts QR 8 Million Net Profit

Doha, August 08 (QNA) - Qatar Cinema and Film Distribution Company disclosed the semi annual financial statements for the period ending June 30, 2012. The reviewed financial statements for the period ending June 30, 2012 revealed a net profit of QR 8 million in comparison to QR 4.2 million for the same period last year, the company said in a statement. The company's Earning per Share (EPS) amounted to QR 1.04 as of June 30, 2012 versus QR 0.74 for the corresponding period in 2011. Qatar Company for cinema and distributing films is the Qatari principal company in the field of arts and cultural entertainment. It was established in 1970 by a group of selective Qatari contributors. (QNA)
