Yemeni-Bulgarian 3rd economic round started
SOFIA, Oct. 16 (Saba)- Works of the 3rd round of the Joint
Yemeni-Bulgarian Economic Committee started on Thursday in the
Bulgarian capital, Sofia.
In the opening ceremony, head of the Yemeni side, Deputy Minister of
Industry and Trade, Ali al-Sayaghi expressed his pleasure to hold
this round between Yemen and Sofia which comes after the convergence
of Bulgaria to the European Union.
He noted that the round will push economic relations between the two
countries forward in fields of investment, agriculture, health and
fisheries health, and implementing projects of infrastructure, in
addition to fields of natural gas of Yemen and its marketing.
Al-Sayaghi reviewed economic developments in Yemen and encouraging
climates of investment which were based on laws granting facilities
for investors.
For his part, head of the Bulgarian side, Deputy Minister of Economy
and Energy, Kubo Majif expressed readiness of his country in
reinforcing economic and political relations with Yemen for its
importance in the region.
It is expected that a number of economic, health and investment
agreements will be signed at the end of the round.
