GCC SG calls for speedy signing of free trade zone agreement

Madrid, October 16, SPA -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation
Council Abdulrahman Ala'ateyah has called for the speedy signing of
the free trade zone agreement between the GCC and the European Union.

In a speech before a symposium in Madrid on dialogue between Spain
and the GCC countries, he said that the peace-loving world welcomed
the international conference on dialogue among religions which was
held in Madrid in July.

He added that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin
Abdulaziz exerted great and appreciated efforts for the holding of
the international conference on dialogue among followers of religions
which succeeded in promoting dialogue among religions and cultures
and peace among all peoples of the world.
