Dr. Mariam Abdel Malik Named as Director- General of the Primary Health Care Institution

Doha, August 01 (QNA) - The Minister of Public Health and Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Health, HE Abdullah bin Khalid Al-Qahtani has issued a decision appointing Dr. Mariam Abdel Malik as Director- General of the Primary Health Care Institution. Dr. Abdel Malik is graduated from King Saud University in Riyadh in 1990. In 1999, she received a certificate from the Arab Board of Family and Community Medicine and also obtained the Fellowship Certificate from the University of Toronto, Canada in the field of family medicine in 2001. Prior to that, Dr. Abdel Malik has served as Chairperson of Doctors and CEO of the Ministry of Public Health's primary health care department. She also served as Acting Deputy Director-General of the Primary Health Care Institution. (QNA)
