London, August 01 (QNA) - HH the Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF) Sheikha Moza bint Nasser has participated in the Global Health Policy Summit held at the Guildhall in London.
Her Highness's participation in the Summit was to announce the organization of the first edition of Qatar Health Policy Summit 2013, saying "I am pleased to announce that Qatar Foundation will organize the First Qatar Health Policy Summit next year." The summit is scheduled to gather those involved in reforming and developing health care across the world to exchange ideas and benefit from international experience as well as cooperate in creating new solutions to meet the challenges facing the health sector in the world, she added.

Sheikha Moza added that innovation could provide answers to some of these challenges, provided that innovation remains within the path of the basic principles agreed upon. Everyone agrees that health is an inherent human right with an obligation to provide universal health services where everyone has an equal right.
Her Highness also touched on the program of health development in Qatar, which is part of the national health strategy that aims to launch programs and global institutions in the field of research, education and health in Qatar such as Sidra Medical and Research Center.
