FINANCE MINISTER REVOKES INSURANCE COMPANY'S LICENSE
Jakarta, Oct. 16 (ANTARA) - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati has revoked the business license of PT Asuransi Jiwa Jaminan 1962 or previously PT Pertanggungan Jiwa Jaminan 1962 or PT Pertanggungan Jiwa Jaminan through Finance Minister's Decree No. Kep-207/KM.10/2008.
The business license revocation was effective September 23, 2008, according to an announcement of the Capital Market and Financial Institutions Supervisory Board (Bapepam) here on Thursday.
Under the decree, the life insurance company was banned from operating.
