Yemen, Iran discuss YIJEC meetings preparations

TEHRAN, Oct. 15 (Saba) - Yemen ambassador to Tehran Jamal Abdullah
al-Salal held talks on Wednesday with Iranian Energy Minister -
chairman of Iranian side in Yemeni-Iranian Joint Committee Parviz
Fatah over preparations concerning meetings of the Yemeni-Iranian
Joint Economic Committee (YIJEC) and mutual cooperation ties between
the two countries.

Al-Salal delivered a draft of agreements proposed to be signed
between the two countries. The committee would hold its meetings in
Sana'a.

Al-Salal also delivered to the Iranian official a written letter
from Minister of Electricity and Energy Awadh al-Socotri to his
Iranian counterpart relating to improving mutual cooperation ties
between the two countries and means of boosting them in electricity
and energy fields.
