QNA Concludes Training Session on Web Site Management

Doha, July 11 (QNA) - Qatar News Agency (QNA) concluded Wednesday a three-day training session titled, "Web Site Management: Creating and Managing ". The session, held at QNA headquarters, comes in line with the series of sessions the QNA Media Relations department holds to train and qualify Qatari cadres working in media. Led by the head of system development at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed Ali Al Mulla, the session comprised aspects of Website designing, assigning colors and themes to a website, safeguarding a website from hacking, along with other practical applications to website developing. Concluding the session, QNA Director General Ahmed Saad al-Buainain thanked Al Mulla for his coordinated efforts with the trainees and commended the trainees themselves on the noticeable motivation they showed during the session. He added QNA will continue on setting up similar sessions to strengthen the skills and the levels of professionalism of the Qatari Cadres. For his part, QNA Media Relations Head Ahmed Mohammed al-Buainain said the training sessions comes in line with the Emiri Decree No 51 of 2009, which has tasked QNA with providing continuous media training to Qatari media executives to develop their skills. He also, declared that QNA will allow, for the first time, an opportunity to GCC states' media cadres to participate at a selection of upcoming training sessions, in line with the GCC General secretariat s accords to exchange experiences and skills within the GCC states. Meanwhile Al Mulla, who is the director of the ministry s newly-launched website and in charge of Qatar embassies websites, thanked QNA for their sincere endeavors to shape an even better Qatari media cadres via holding such training sessions. At the end of the session, Director General of QNA handed over training certificates to the participants. (QNA)
