Iran, Algeria have common interest, Majlis speaker
Algiers, Oct 15, IRNA - Majlis speaker Ali Larijani said on Wednesday that Iran and Algeria enjoy common ground about various issues.
Larijani told Algerian journalists that Iran is willing to strengthen
technological and economic ties with Algeria.
He also expressed Iran's readiness for parliamentary relations with
Algeria as well as taking part in the country's development projects.
Larijani added that Tehran and Algiers would develop cooperation in
international organizations in light of the common interest.
Majlis speaker described Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika an
excellent character in the Muslim world.
A number of Algerian journalists are currently on a visit to Tehran.
