OIL AND ENERGY PRODUCTION IN RISE
Baku, 15 0ctober, (AzerTAj)Oil production in Azerbaijan increased from 15,4 million tons in 2003 to 52 million tons in 2008. The projects were successfully realized.
The oil production is also forecasted to increase in 2009. Eight energy power
stations of 700 megawatt were built in 2003-2008 in Azerbaijan.
It was reported during the Cabinet’s meeting on the nine-month socio-economic
development results in 2008.
