Daelim Industrial signs 627.7 bln won deal in Singapore

SEOUL, Oct. 15 (Yonhap) -- Daelim Industrial Co., a South Korean builder, said Wednesday that it has clinched a preliminary deal worth 627.7 billion won (US$507.8 million) to build a coastal expressway in Marina, Singapore.
Daelim Industrial has won the deal in conjunction with the Singaporean unit of
Sato Kogyo Co., a Japanese general contractor, the South Korean builder said in a
regulatory filing.
Daelim Industrial holds an 83.6 percent stake in the deal, with Sato Kogyo's unit
owning the remainder.
