Yemeni-Saudi Ministerial Follow UP Committee to meet
RIYADH, Oct 14 (Saba) - The Yemeni-Saudi Ministerial Follow UP
Committee of the Yemeni-Saudi Coordination Council, is due to meet
early next month in Sana'a.
The state-run 26sep.net has reported that the committee ordinary
session to be chaired jointly by Yemeni minister of Planning and
Intenational Cooperation Abdul Karim al-Arhabi and Saudi minister of
Industry and Trade will discuss preparations for the 19th round of
the Yemeni-Saudi Coordination Council.
The round would be co-chaired by prime minister Ali Muhammad Jujawar
and Saudi Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz.
Yemen's ambassador to Saudi Arabia Muhammad al-Ahwal said the
meetings of the council would be held before the end of 2008 and
would deal with agreements signed by the two countries.
Al-Ahwal said economic and development issues will dominate the
round as well as establishing contact between the two countries
universities.
He added that the ordinary session of the committee will be
dedicated to discussing issues linked to boost trade exchange and
activate the role of border cities to ease the flow of goods between
Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
Al-Ahawal appreciated Saudi support for Yemen particularly in areas
such as technical education and vocational training.
