Sheikh Jassem Cup, Lekhwiya Take on Al Arabi in Opener

Doha, July 03 (QNA) - Defending champions Al Arabi will take on Qatar Stars League (QSL) winners Lekhwiya in the opening match of the Sheikh Jassem Cup. The event starts on July 25. The first-round event concludes on August 7 while the semifinals are slated for August 10. The matches will be held at Al Khor, Al Wakra, Al Ahli and Al Sailiyah Stadiums. The final will be held at Doha Stadium. The Groups: Group A: Lekhwiya, Al Gharafa, Al Arabi and Al Shamal; Group B: Al Rayyan, Al Kharaitiyat, Al Markhiah, Umm Salal and Al Shahaniya; Group C: AlSadd, Al Wakra, Qatar SC, Al Sailiyah and Mesaimeer; Group D: Al Jaish, Al Khor, Al Ahli and Muaither (QNA)
