Azerbaijan, Columbia discuss military cooperation

Azerbaijan, Baku, July 3 / Trend K. Zarbaliyeva / Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev has received a delegation today headed by Columbian First Constitutional Committee Chairperson Alexandra Moreno Piraquive, the ministry told Trend today. The Minister stressed that the visit of members of the Colombian parliament to Azerbaijan is of great importance and serves as the expansion of bilateral ties between the countries. Safar Abiyev thanked members of the Columbian Senate for taking a decision on the occupation of Azerbaijani lands by Armenia and informed the guests about the military-political situation in the region and the problems that have arisen as a result.
