RIAU TO ESTABLISH SISTER CITY COOPERATION WITH S KOREA'S JEOLLABUKDO
Pekanbaru, Riau, Oct. 15 (ANTARA) - Riau Province will establish sister-city cooperation with South Korea's Jeollabukdop province in the near future, according to Riau Governor Wan Abubakar.
A delegation from Jeollabukdo arrived in Riau province on Tuesday for initial talks on the sister-city cooperation, Governor Abubakar said.
The delegation was headed by Jeollabukdo International Relations Adviser Park Heung Shin.
The cooperation would cover the fields of health, technology, culture and infrastructure, he said.
The two provinces were also expected to cooperate in investment, cultural exchange, information exchange and technical assistance programs, he said.
