Japan's Crown Prince Naruhito ends visit to Thailand

BANGKOK, June 27 (TNA) - His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Naruhito of Japan concluded his three-day official visit to Thailand Wednesday and has departed for neighbouring Cambodia, the next leg of his ongoing Southeast Asian tour. The Japanese Crown Prince was sent off this morning by Thai Deputy Prime Minister General Yuthasak Sasiprapa , Science and Technology Minister Plodprasop Suraswadi and Thai Ambassador to Japan Weerasak Futrakul at Bangkok's Don Mueang Airport, where he inspected the guard of honour together with His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's Deputy Principal Private Secretary Chittrapat Krairiksh and later flew to Cambodia by his personal aircraft. His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Naruhito of Japan's three-day trip to Thailand as the guest of the Thai government, scheduled for June 25-27, commemorated the auspicious 125th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Thailand and further boosted bilateral trade and investment ties, as Japan is now the largest investor in Thailand.
