Deputy Emir of Qatar Meets Outgoing Cuban Ambassador

Doha, June 26 (QNA) - HH the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met at his Emiri Diwan office on Tuesday with HE Cuban Ambassador to Qatar Armando Vergara Bueno on the occasion of the expiry of his tenure in the State. At the outset of the meeting, HH the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent awarded the Cuban Ambassador the Sash of Merit in appreciation to his efforts to prompt the relations between the two countries. HH the Deputy Emir wished the Ambassador success in his future assignment and the relations between the two countries further development and progress. For his part, the Cuban diplomat expressed thanks and appreciation to HH the Deputy Emir and the officials in the state for the cooperation he received during his tenure in Qatar. (QNA)
