-STATE MINISTER AYDIN COMPLETES TALKS IN OMAN

MUSCAT (A.A) - 14.10.2008 - Turkish State Minister Mehmet Aydin completed his official talks in Oman on Tuesday with his visit to the Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) and Cultural Center.
Welcoming Aydin to the SQU, Rector Ali Albonani gave information on the education provided to students. Aydin was accompanied by Turkish Ambassador in Muscat Engin Turker while touring the SQU.
Minister Aydin met with Omani Minister responsible for foreign affairs Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister of Information Hamad bin Muhammad al-Rashidi and Minister of Education and Teaching Yahya bin Saud al-Salimi in Muscat on Monday.
Aydin delivered a speech at a conference on the "Alliance of Civilizations" at Sultan Qaboos Cultural Center on Monday evening.
Mehmet Aydin will depart from Oman on Wednesday and will head to Kazakhstan.
