Iran, Kuwait underline expansion of sports cooperation

Kuwait city, Oct 14, IRNA - Iran's Vice President and Head of Physical Education Organization and chairman of Asia Olympic Council (AOC) underlined bilateral sports cooperation.

In a meeting between Mohammad Aliabadi and Sheikh Ahmad al-Fahd
as-Sabah, the Kuwaiti chairman of the AOC here on Monday, the two
sides discussed and exchanged views on sports cooperation between Iran
and Kuwait as well as Iran and AOC.

Iran's VP presented a report on Iran's latest sports policies and
activities as well as construction and development of sports centers
in Iran and called for interaction and exchange of experiences in this
concern.

Ahmad al-Fahd as-Sabah, for his part, also presented a report on AOC
activities and underlined bilateral cooperation between Iran and
Kuwait for promotion of sports.

Aliabadi at the head of a sports delegation arrived in Kuwait city on
Sunday to discuss issues of mutual interest with Kuwaiti officials
during a 3-day visit.
