AZERBAIJAN`S ECONOMY CONTINUES TO BOOM
Baku, 14 0ctober, (AzerTAj)Dynamic development of Azerbaijan`s economy continued in the past four quarters of the current year.
GDP rose by 15%.
It was reported during
the Cabinet`s meeting dealing with nine-month socio-economic development results in
2008.
Azerbaijan has been a world`s leader in terms of economic development rates for the
past four years. High rates guarantee long-term development of the country.
In the reporting period, agriculture grew by 8%, industrial production by 12%,
people`s income 34%, while inflation by 21%.
