COE OFFICE IN AZERBAIJAN TO ORGANIZE TRAINING SEMINARS ON STANDARDS OF ECHR FOR STUDENTS AND NGO REPS
Baku, 14 0ctober, (AzerTAj)The Council of Europe Office in Azerbaijan will conduct training seminars on the standards of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) for students of Law Faculties and young people working in a law sphere from November 1 to 29.
The aim of training seminars is to provide undergraduate and graduate students from
law academic backgrounds with the framework of the activities of the ECHR, its
working procedures, court case-laws, help enhance their educational experience
through practical work assignments; to explain them the mechanisms of influence of
the European court judgments to the practices of local courts.
The program of the training will include interactive teaching methods, group
discussion, case presentations by trainer, real-life case-laws, Council of Europe
publications.
