Train services resume on Thailand's northern line
BANGKOK, June 10 (TNA) - Train services on Thailand's northern line have now resumed after a section of the track in Phrae Province was hit by forest run-offs.
The State Railway of Thailand says services have returned back to normal, eight hours after a suspension was announced at about 2.00 a.m. Sunday.
The temporary disruption was the second time in just two days.
The annual monsoon has caused flooding in at least three villages of Phrae, where roads, houses and government buildings have been submerged under deep water. Up to one-metre high floods have been reported in some areas, isolating some of the local communities. (TNA)
