Baku, 13 0ctober, (AzerTAj) - As provided by Independent Press Center under the CEC of Azerbaijan Republic, under article 8.2 of the Election Code of Azerbaijan voting day shall be considered a day off within the territory where election (referendum) is held.
As the October 15, 2008 presidential election envelops the whole territory of the
Republic of Azerbaijan (article 29.9 of the Code), this day is designated as a day
off throughout the country.
