PM calls on anti-corruption among Thais

BANGKOK, June 6 (TNA) - Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has called on anti-graft in all Thai sectors to eradicate corruption from the country eventually. When delivering a special lecture on the public sector's role in preventing and suppressing corruption at a seminar organized Wednesday by the Bangkok-based Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), Yingluck said that Thailand's image against corruption in the international community should be further improved, urging cooperation among Thai people in all local sectors to campaign and to take all other actions to get rid of corruption from the country. The prime minister insisted that one of her administration's focal policies is concrete crackdown against corruption nationwide; while promoting and boosting morale of clean-handed people. The Thai premier said she believes that strong cooperation against corruption from all sectors will bring about and sustain the healthy and corruption-free Thai society eventually. (TNA)
