CONSTRUCTION OF GANJA STATE PHILHARMONIC HALL DUE TO START NEXT MONTH
Baku, 12 0ctober, (AzerTAj) - Some 16 million mantas have been allocated for construction of a new Philharmonic Hall in Ganja, Azerbaijan.
Three-level Hall will be erected on a area formerly occupied by ‘Baku’ Cinema Theater in the center of the city.
The building will have 900-seat concert hall and 100-seat cinema theater with rooms
meeting modern standards and fitted up with up-to-date equipment, including heating
lighting systems.
Reportedly, the program of rebuilding and restoration of historical monuments in
Ganja is now being developed as well. Restoration of ‘Karvansara’ and ‘Imamzadeh’
architectural complexes is due to start in 2009.
