GCC Secretary General reaffirms strength of Gulf Economy

Riyadh, Oct 13, SPA -- Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council
(GCC) Abdurrahman Al-Atiyyah reiterated Monday the strength of the
gulf economy.


In a statement issued here today, he noted that the economies of the
Gulf States do enjoy a remarkable economic growth, adding that the
commercial gulf banks have a high rate of liquidity and a
distinguished financial status.


Al-Atiyyah confirmed that the central banks in the GCC member states
are ready to make the required liquidity available for banks if they
need liquidity.
