Jordanian bodies condemn building a synagogue adjacent to

Amman, October 13, SPA -- Many Jordanian political and cultural
bodies condemned today the continued Zionist attacks on Islamic holy
sites including latest disclosures of Al-Aqsa Foundation for
Endowment and Heritage relating to the official opening on Thursday
of a Jewish synagogue only dozens of meters away from the Holy Mosque
of Al-Aqsa.

These bodies reiterated the gravity of such action which might
result in sparking flames of a major confrontation with the Zionist
entity, which "move forward towards the Judaization of Al-Aqsa
Mosque, ignoring the consequences of such aggressive plans".

The Jordanian bodies hoped to move ahead in stopping the
criminal Israeli attacks against Al Aqsa Mosque and through an
organized and wide-spread action.

The Aqsa Foundation pointed out that the synagogue is located in
the region of the Islamic Waqf, "Hamam Al-Ein", which is located on
the western wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque at the far end of "Al-Wad" Street
between "Al-Buraq Wall" and the "Al-Qtanin" market - the Old City of
Al-Quds and the institution as the synagogue is linked with a network
of tunnels and excavations.
