Prince Naif hopes Anti-Terror International Center will realize
Riyadh, Oct 13, SPA -- Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Interior
Minister, hoped that the international center for combating
terrorism, proposed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz would be established and realize its goals.
He noted that the matter is at the hands of the United Nations and
it is the right authority which will decide the date of the Center's
establishment.
As regards cooperation of the Arab security organs, he said in a
press statement after opening the second Arab conference of the heads
of the prosecutions general and investigations commissions here last
night, that this is the desire of the interior ministers and security
organs.
"We are keen on fair and deterrent rules at the same time, " he
said.
Meanwhile, Prince Naif said 'God willing, the trial of the
terrorists inside the Kingdom will start soon'.
Prince Naif noted that the Prosecution General Administration is the
authority which undertakes the process of prosecution on behalf of
the state's organs as regards terror problems.
Prince Naif reiterated that the threat of Al-Qaeda to the country's
security still exists.
