Thailand PM Yingluck arrives in Australia

SYDNEY, May 27 (TNA) - Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra on Saturday arrived in Australia for a 4-day official visit. Arriving on Saturday night, Miss Yingluck was greeted at Sydney Airport by the Australian Ambassador to Thailand, James Wise. For her visit, Miss Yingluck was due to meet with her Australian counterpart Julia Gillard in Canberra on Monday. She would also attend a ceremony to lay a wreath at the Australian War Memorial, and would meet members of the Thai business community. The Thai Prime Minister’s trip would make the 60th anniversary of bilateral relations between Australia and Thailand. (TNA)
