Kazakh president: Mankind exhausts limit on revolutions

Kazakhstan, Astana, May 23 / Trend D. Mukhtarov / Mankind has exhausted the limit on revolutions and the world wars of the last century, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the V Astana Economic Forum. "Today, all the wisdom of humanity is to save our world, otherwise self-destruction will ensue," he said. He suggested that revolutions can take place in the 21st century, but only in the sphere of science and technologies. "Evolution, rather than revolution must become one of the principles of my idea of G - global," the president said. Nazarbayev said that the only true way for society to progress in the 21st century is by reforms. A wave of revolutions occurred in the early 21st century. The revolutionary wave of demonstrations and protests in the Arab world, called the 'Arab Spring' led to a massive loss of population and change of power in some countries in the Middle East and North Africa. Revolutionary movements occurred in the former Soviet Union countries. The orange revolution in Ukraine, Rose Revolution in Georgia, two revolutions in Kyrgyzstan have recently occurred.
