Shoura Council affirms strength of Saudi economy 2 Riyadh

On the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, the Council congratulated the
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al
Saud; Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier,
Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General; the Royal
Family; Saudi people and Arab and Islamic nations.

It commended the great efforts exerted by the state's bodies to
provide the best facilities for Umrah performers and visitors of the
Prophet's Mosque during the blessed month of Ramadan.

The Council praised the King and the Crown Prince for their orders
and directives in the interest of large classes of the society
notably the disbursement of a sum of SR 1.150 billion to all the
families covered by social insurance during the blessed month of
Ramadan as well as an increase in the subsidy for the handicapped by
100 percent.
