Qatar Handball to Hold Season Closing Ceremony Today

Doha, May 22 (QNA) - The Qatar Handball Association (QHA) will hold its 2011-2012 sports season closing ceremony today, according to a Qatar Olympic Committee bulletin. The QHA will honour the top Qatari players who excelled during this sports season. The players include Mohammad Abdullah Al Hajiri (Al Rayyan), Abdulrazaq Murad (Al Gharafa), Abdulaziz Al Shamari (Al Sadd), Mubarak Al Boanain (Al Arabi), Abdulaziz Buhendi (Al Wakrah) and Fahad Al Suwaidi. Meanwhile, the draw of the 13th Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship will also be held in Doha on Tuesday. The tournament will be staged from June 30 to July 13. The winners will qualify to the 2013 World Cup. Fifteen teams are participating in the event including hosts Qatar, Bahrain, KSA, UAE, Kuwait, Iraq, Lebanon, Korea, Iran, Macao, Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. (QNA)
