Absence of a Solution in the Middle East Prolongs Instability-Mitchell

Doha, May 20 (QNA) -The US former envoy to the Middle East George Mitchell said on Sunday that a state of no-solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict prolongs instability in the area, calling for finding a settlement. Addressing the opening session of the Doha Forum and Enriching the Future Conference, Mitchell said the Israelis and Palestinians may encounter risks in the future in view of the spontaneous reaction of the peoples of the area and the ongoing events , urging both sides for negotiations under the umbrella of the UN. He also said both sides should be committed to the establishment of a viable Palestinian state side by side with Israel. (QNA)
