HH the Emir and HH Sheikha Moza attend Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Celebration

London, May 18 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani and HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser attended a luncheon banquet hosted by Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, held at Windsor Palace today, on the occasion of the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, the celebration marking the 60th anniversary of her accession to the thrones. HH the Emir and HH Sheikha Moza were welcomed upon arrival at Windsor Palace by Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh. HH the Emir and HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser congratulated the Queen on the occasion, wishing her best of health and relations between the two countries continued progress and development. The function was attended by a number of state leaders and presidents as well as heads of delegations and invitees. (QNA)
