Doha, May 13 (QNA) - The world's second largest independent communications consultancy Grayling opened its new office in West Bay here on Sunday. The consultancy which provides full service public relations, corporate communications and public affairs services to leading local and international government and private sector organisations moves from its previous premises where it noted substantial growth over the last one year, the consultancy said in a media statement today. Attending the opening, Global CEO of Grayling Lord Peter Chadlington said, "Not only is Qatar the richest economy in the world, it is also one of the fastest growing. We are seeing international brands investing heavily in the region as well as home grown organisations finding a global voice. This makes it one of the most strategically important markets for us, and we are positive about our prospects and believe Grayling can become the communications partner of choice within Qatar. "We already have 20 local and international consultants based here, and we are extremely enthusiastic about developing local talent and nurturing the best quality of communications counsel in Arabic language." Currently some of the Grayling's key clients include Qatar Foundation, Al Jazeera Children's Channel, BAE Systems and in collaboration with their sister company Citigate Dewe Rogerson supports communications outreach of Qatar Financial Centre Authority. On the occasion of the new office opening, Director of Grayling Qatar Tamara Bullock stressed the importance of the communications industry development in Qatar, "Qatar is on the roadmap of all leading foreign investors and national economy is developing with the pace putting the country high up on the global influencers map. Communications industry is following that growth and we are delighted to be a part of the economic development and support major Qatari and international institutions doing business here." (QNA)
