One child dies, six more get injured during children's TV show in Iran

Azerbaijan, Baku, May 11 / Trend S.Isayev, T. Jafarov/ One child died and six more were injured during a children's TV show in Iran's Khorramdarreh city of Zanjan province, Fars reported. During the broadcast of the "Happy Aunt" children's TV program, the sports complex where the show was taking place could hold only 3 000 people, while over 4 000 people came to see the program, said the Mayor of Khorramdarreh Rahim Nuripour. As a result, people created a jam near two exits, during which one child died, and six more were injured, Nuripour added. According to him, one of the injured children fell into a coma, the condition of four others is considered heavy. Three people responsible for broadcast transmission were arrested in connection with the incident, Nuripour added. The "Happy Aunt" TV show has been broadcasted in Iran for over five years.
