King receives committee's members of Trustees Council of King

Jeddah, October 10, SPA -- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, who is the President of King Abdulaziz and
His Companions Foundation for Giftness and Creativity, approved the
strategy and plan for giftness, creativity and support for innovation
prepared by the foundation in collaboration with an international
consultancy in line with the king directives to realize the strategic
message of the foundation.

This came during the king's reception here today of the members of
the committee formed from the Trustees Council of the foundation
which includes Prince Khalid bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Minister of
Education Dr. Abdullah bin Salih Alo'baid, who is also Vice President
of the foundation; Dr. Hashim bin Abdullah Yamani, Minister of
Commerce and Industry Abdullah Zainal and Secretary General of the
foundation Dr. Khalid Alsabti.

The king was briefed on the foundation's strategy and plan for
giftness, creativity and support for innovation.

During the audience, the king stressed the importance of the
strategic message of the foundation in supporting and developing
innovation to serve the homeland.

The king also stressed the great national role of the strategy and
plan for giftness, creativity and support for innovation in
transforming the kingdom to an innovative knowledge society,
establishing knowledge-based industries and achieving sustainable
development through discovering the gifted in various age groups
especially in the first stages in all parts of the kingdom in line
with international rates; nurturing them in the fields of science,
technology, leadership and administration and developing them to
reach a high standard that is competitive internationally provided
that they should be an example for Muslim youths who are productive
in their thinking, dazzling in their innovation and sincere in their
performance.
