Yemen to participate in Arab Club Championship

SANA'A, Oct. 09 (Saba)- Rakhma Club Youth and Women Sport Union participate in the Second Arab Club Championship to be held in Amman tomorrow.

In the two-day long championship, 16 teams from Jordan, Yemen, Lebanon, Palestine,
Iraq and Syria would participate in different games.

Assistant Secretary General of Games Union Ubaid Ulaian made it clear to Saba that
Yemen's participation in these contests is represented by nine most prominent
players and five most brilliant female players in the Yemeni Woman Sport Union
(YWSU).

He expected that the team would get medals and score new marks in the championship,
indicating Ministry of Youth and Sports' support to different sport activities,
locally, regionally and internationally.

Meanwhile, Head of YWSU Nadhmiah Abdu-Salam said the female participants have
undergone heavy training in preparations for participation in the championship.
